Career History

I, Dr. Yashar Vafaei Mamaghani, am an entrepreneur and leader who has dedicated every moment of my life to achieving success in the business world. Throughout my career, I have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, but I have always believed in myself and worked with determination to overcome these hurdles and reach my goals. My extensive experience in various sectors such as construction, medical, food, and industry has established me as a recognized expert in production and international trade on the global stage. Since founding ECOHOS in 2015, which has achieved a 10% market share in Turkey, I have accomplished many successes in the business world.

My career began with my undergraduate education. I studied architecture at Tabriz Azad Islamic University, one of the most prestigious and long-established higher education institutions in Tabriz. At this university, I learned both the aesthetic and functional dimensions of architecture, equipping myself with both theoretical and practical knowledge. For me, architecture was not just a profession but also an art. In every project, I aimed to combine aesthetics and functionality to create better living spaces for people. Every detail I learned during this process continues to add an aesthetic touch to the projects I lead today.

I completed my master’s degree in Social Psychology at International Dublin University. Psychology is more than just understanding human behavior and societies; it is a discipline at the heart of commerce and management. As I studied social psychology, I developed my ability to analyze human relationships more deeply and use these analyses strategically in the business world. Understanding people’s motivations, group dynamics, and the impact of societal structures on business provided me with significant advantages in many aspects. To succeed in the business world, it’s not just about conducting financial analyses; understanding and managing human behavior is equally important.

My academic journey continued at the doctoral level with Political Science and International Relations at International Dublin University. My studies in this field helped me grasp the strategic importance of global policies and international cooperation in the business world. I realized more clearly here that to succeed in a globalizing world, it is necessary to be effective not only at the national level but also internationally. Throughout every step of international trade, I enhanced my ability to develop the right strategies and analyze global politics.

The turning point in my career was the year 2015, when I founded my company, ECOHOS. Established for the trading of medical and laboratory equipment and the packaging of medical supplies, the company achieved great success in a short period, securing a 10% market share in Turkey. Behind this success were my unique business practices and innovative approaches in the sector. I have always felt immense satisfaction being in Turkey. The potential and development opportunities that this country offers have always motivated me. I take pride in achieving numerous successes both nationally and internationally through the businesses I established in Turkey.

When I first stepped into the business world, I always had big goals. However, achieving these goals was not easy. In 1998, after completing high school, I took my first steps into the business world. While continuing my university education, I started working at a medical company and began selling handicrafts to start my own business. Despite the challenges, the small store I rented grew and took me to a different position in the business world. During this period, I integrated what I learned and my experiences into my work, eventually reaching a point where I could undertake larger projects.

From Iran to the United Arab Emirates, from Azerbaijan to Russian-speaking countries, I explored business opportunities in various regions. However, I did not achieve the results I had hoped for in any of these countries—until I discovered the opportunity to do business in Turkey. From the moment I first set foot in Turkey, I was deeply impressed by the warmth and hospitality this country offered. The opportunities presented by the Turkish business world and Turkey’s future potential motivated me to stay and develop my business in this country.

After founding ECOHOS, I developed numerous projects across various fields in Turkey. From the production of laboratory devices to paper production processes, from innovations in the food industry to medical projects, I have led a wide range of endeavors. One revolutionary project was the Ushuturasond Project, which focused on converting paper waste into medical and ultrasound paper. Through this project, I demonstrated my commitment to sustainable production processes and environmentally friendly solutions. Additionally, through innovative ventures such as the production of 100% organic fast food in the food industry, I aimed to contribute to public health. These projects were the steps that distinguished me in the business world and reinforced my leadership.

My successes in the food industry were among the many victories I achieved in the business world. For the first time in the world, I developed projects aimed at producing hot and cold sandwiches and 100% organic fast food products for children. These projects not only provided commercial success but also represented a revolutionary step toward promoting healthy eating habits within society. I view the food industry not only as a commercial enterprise but also as a means of providing sustainable and healthy solutions to society.

Throughout my life, I have faced many challenges. While I may not have received enough recognition in my home country, I found the opportunity to express myself and succeed in the business world in Turkey. My academic background in political science and social psychology has greatly helped me understand and manage the challenges I faced in the business world. I have always believed that individuals, when properly valued, can help take their country’s economy to new heights. Thanks to the opportunities Turkey has provided me, I have successfully established myself on the global stage.

Among my future goals are social responsibility projects, such as building affordable housing for low-income groups and creating job opportunities for unemployed young people. The increasing global housing crisis in recent years has led me to think more deeply about this area and develop solutions. Housing is one of the basic needs of humans, and millions of people around the world are unable to meet this need. Ignoring this problem goes against my philosophy and business principles. Acting with a sense of social responsibility means not only focusing on commercial success but also responding to the needs of society. This is why I plan to develop affordable housing projects for low-income groups.

In these projects, one of my top priorities is not only to build affordable housing but also to ensure that these homes are high-quality, safe, and livable. Affordable housing can be a helping hand for the most vulnerable members of society, but I also place great importance on ensuring these homes are durable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly. Furthermore, within the scope of these projects, I aim to create job opportunities for unemployed young people. The energy, creativity, and dynamism of young people are critical for the future of society. Providing them not only with a home but also with jobs that will offer economic independence is the cornerstone of these projects. Handing a key to a young person represents much more than just opening a door. That key can be the symbol of a new life, new opportunities, and a future full of hope.

To support the integration of young people into the business world, I plan to create various job sectors in fields such as construction, agriculture, and technology within these projects. In this way, young people will have the opportunity not only to secure a temporary job but also to develop themselves and climb the career ladder. In these projects, I aim to attract young talent not only locally but also on international platforms. Thus, I hope to make a difference not only in Turkey but globally. Seeing the potential of young people and providing them with the necessary support is a great responsibility for me as a leader. I aim to fulfill this responsibility by investing in the future of young people.

Another important goal of mine is to leave a lasting and meaningful legacy for society by building a modern orphanage and senior center. Every person, at different stages of their life, needs support. While orphans grow up deprived of the warmth and security of their parents, the elderly often feel loneliness and neglect in the later stages of their lives. Developing projects for these two vulnerable groups is extremely important to me. My goal is not only to provide shelter for orphaned children but also to offer them the education, psychological support, and opportunities they need to become productive members of society.

A modern orphanage should be a place where children feel safe and are raised with love and care. Here, children should not only have their basic needs met but also be offered an education that will develop their self-confidence and encourage their creativity. The main goal of this project is to enhance their social skills, support their personal development, and ensure they are well-prepared for life. In this orphanage, we will offer children opportunities in various fields such as art, sports, and science, allowing them to discover their talents. This project is not only a social responsibility but also an investment in the next generation, helping them become valuable contributors to society.

Similarly, the senior center will be a beacon of hope for people in the later stages of life who are feeling lonely and in need of care. Our elderly have spent much of their lives contributing to society. Showing them the respect and care they deserve is both an individual and societal responsibility. In the senior center, we will provide not only basic care services but also social activities, rehabilitation programs, and emotional support, creating a peaceful environment for them. One of the main elements of this project is to give meaning to the lives of the elderly, integrating them into society, and ensuring they do not feel isolated.

**In addition, I aim to expand my presence on the global stage and strengthen my commercial relationships with Middle Eastern countries. International trade is not about staying within the borders of one country but collaborating with different cultures and markets. The Middle East is a region with significant economic potential and rapid growth. By increasing my commercial activities in this region, I aim to contribute to Turkey’s economy while also supporting the workforce in the region. I plan to collaborate on joint projects with countries such as Qatar, Azerbaijan, and the United States
